Marketing communications strategic development

·         Develop and implement strategic plans for communication initiatives driven by organization objectives and marketing needs

·         Create communications programs that identify and fulfill competitive needs and achieve measurable results

·         Identify and implement improvements to corporate identity standards and promote consistent brand usage in web, print, sales collateral, and other communications.

 

Content creation

·         Write and edit messages, content, scope, documentation, and reports

·         Develop, write, design, and manage production of websites, web content, including writing and graphics, user interfaces (UI), site architecture, navigation, and accessibility

·         Create, write, and manage external print collateral including magazines, newsletters, posters, flyers, direct mail, sales collateral, and brochures

·         Create and manage development of photography and visuals, including planning and managing photo shoots, generating client approvals, and developing and creating visual programs for products and services

 

Communications counsel

·         Provide communications counsel to executives, partners, and staff, including managing inquiries and sensitive topics

·         Work closely with company managers, human resources, and benefit/service partners to determine specific messaging needs and implement communications through appropriate channels

·         Collaborate effectively with international creative, sales, product marketing, engineering, and research departments in US, UK, Germany, Italy, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia.

 

Measurement/analysis

·         Survey audiences and marketplace, measure effectiveness of initiatives, conduct ongoing monitoring and analysis, and use metrics to improve materials and programs

 

Search engine optimization

·         Boost website ranking and search engine index placement using effective traffic analysis and development/density of keywords

 

Media, press, and community relations

·         Create and manage media relations, including writing press releases, developing press kits, developing white papers, and calling editors and reporters

·         Manage press tours, product launches, tradeshows/exhibits, multimedia, presentations, special events, and corporate conference showcases

·         Address inquiries from media, customers, partners/channels, investors, and other stakeholders, and provide counsel to managers and partners about methodology for handling inquiries and sensitive topics

·         Serve as key spokesperson, develop corporate presentations, establish speaker’s bureau, and coach executives and managers for effective message delivery

 

Instructional design

·         Develop all forms of on-demand sales, tool, and job-process training, including web-based (WBT) and instructor-led (ILT) for sales and technical audiences, and manage training from project scope and planning through course development and deployment using learning management systems (LMS) and evaluation

·         Work closely with subject matter experts to design, pilot, and launch new curriculum, and review, edit, redevelop, redesign, and rebrand existing curriculum

 

Project management/budgeting

·         Ensure program budgets, production timelines, and resource allocations are planned and delivered in support of business plans and objectives

·         Supervise and mentor staff, contractors, and vendors across division boundaries, manage vendor negotiations, develop time and resource deployment schedules, and reduce expenses

·         Develop strong personal relationship at all levels and with all stakeholders, including marketing, creative services, product development, operations, merchandising, human resources, public affairs, retail, and sales

 

Product placement

·         Position products at test sites and with media for review and testing, and develop and cultivate testimonials

 

Localization/translation

·         Create and develop multi-lingual print and online end-user documentation, user manuals, and help system
