Welcome to the Redmond United Methodist Church home page. If you live in the Redmond area, and have never visited our church, we would be delighted to welcome you to worship with us on Sunday morning. We have two opportunities for worship on Sunday mornings. Lively and inspirational music with vocal and instrumental choirs for all ages is one of our key strengths.

• Our 9:00 a.m. service is an informal, contemporary style of worship.
• Our 11:00 a.m. service is more traditional, yet still people-friendly with some contemporary elements blended in.

Between the two services, at 10:15 a.m., there are opportunities for Christian learning and fellowship in Sunday School classes for all ages. Loving, high quality child care is available during both worship services as well as during Sunday School.

The Redmond United Methodist Church has been a vital part of the city of Redmond for more than a century. For over a hundred years this congregation has sought to be the very presence of Christ, extending the compassionate love, justice and healing of Christ to the community around it. Redmond United Methodist Church is, today, a lively, welcoming, and serving congregation at the heart of downtown.

Through worship, Bible studies, youth and children's activities, choirs, special seasonal celebrations, and retreats we seek to help people experience the presence of a seeking and loving God. We provide food for emergencies, shelter for homeless men every January, and a variety of mission and service opportunities to help meet the real needs of people here in Redmond and in other parts of the world.

We believe that Jesus is Lord and Savior and that he calls us to a life of highest moral principles and to give our lives in service to others. We believe that our faith becomes most real not only through a life of worship, prayer and Christian nurture, but especially when we reach out in compassionate love to help those in need.

This congregation has taken as its core commitment, the words of the apostle, Paul: "Make Love Your Aim." Christ calls us to a life-long journey of growing in love: love for God; love, acceptance, and forgiveness of one another; and love for all God's creation. All who would join us in this journey of faith are welcome.
