Knute Rockne

Here are some success tips that work for me:

  • Establish the habit of talking to other people who demonstrate enthusiasm. That's why you get together with your manager first thing every day, either in person or by telephone. Meeting with your manager puts you in a positive frame of mind and also provides you with new goals for the day.
  • Establish daily goals for yourself and your organization. Compete week after week with other champions—not only the ones in your district but also those in other countries! Review each week's magazine to see who's ahead, and make the top personal sales figure your new goal!
  • When you're training, always accompany your recruits. Remember to ask yourself and your recruits, "who saw you sell it?" Lead them to prosperity by showing them the proper way. Then your people will be equipped with the tools for a successful career.

Your positive, can-do attitude is invaluable if you're striving for success. So be enthusiastic! Be daring! Be competitive! Be persistent! Be honest! Be bold and go for it!
