The Treasurer's report

The monies received from team members working the weekends has been declining and it is reflected in the bank account balance. Many times people work and have every intention of paying the $40 fee, but then get distracted and simply forget.

However, there are many expenses involved in putting together a weekend event, plus there are ongoing expenses that the Chrysalis Board must pay, such as insurance premiums, mailing costs for the newsletter, fees to churches for the use of the buildings to name a few.

While there is some money set aside for scholarships, this is to be used for those cases where it is really needed. (And the Board willingly and gladly supports those situations). Please make a very conscious effort to pay the weekend fee when you work. It will allow the Chrysalis community to stay solvent and able to continue its ministry to the youth of the Puget Sound area.

If you feel so inclined, you may send a check to the PO box to cover any past weekends worked. Your treasurer would be, oh, so grateful!!!
