Statement of Organization for Puget Sound Chrysalis

Chrysalis is a worldwide, ecumenical movement for the spiritual development of high school youth in the Christian tradition. The structure and content of the Chrysalis experience is an adaptation for youth of the Walk to Emmaus program for adults. Journey's primary focus is young adults.

All of these programs have been developed by The Upper Room which is a ministry for the development of increased spiritual life. It is affiliated with the United Methodist Church headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee.

The local organizational unit is known as Puget Sound Chrysalis and is directed by a board of clergy and youth and adult laypersons. Policies set forth by the Board are intended to conform with those stated in a Letter of Agreement between the Board and The Upper Room to which it is accountable.
