Commitment is an essential element of Chrysalis

Our secular world—and time itself—impacts our ability for commitment. We each live at such a hectic pace that we tend to over-commit ourselves to our families, churches, jobs, schools, and even "play." It's hard to squeeze everything into our 24/7 lifestyles and schedules.

However, commitment is a contract to someone else that you will accomplish something. A commitment is not to be taken lightly—especially when you review the Team Covenant. When you commit to a Flight or Journey weekend, you have essentially promised the Butterflies that you will support them on their Christian faith walk. Don't let them down.

We treasure your commitment to the Chrysalis community in these ways:

  1. Through sponsorship of other youth and young adults.

  2. Through participation in working on the Chrysalis teams.

  3. Through informing others in your schools, youth groups and churches about Chrysalis.

  4. Through spreading "Christ Love" to others.

How can you help?

These are some ways to help the Chrysalis community:

Commitment as defined in the dictionary as; to give in, trust, entrust, and consign for preservation. We, the Chrysalis community, have entrusted you to keep the commitments you have made. It builds character; it shows leadership qualities and establishes trust.

The rest is up to you.
